Annie M. built her Micro-Bin System to compost manure from two horses, as well as assorted leaves, grass clippings and compostable kitchen waste. In just six weeks, she has a finished batch of "beautiful, aromatic compost". She uses all her compost on her garden, lawn and bushes and claims to have the most beautiful yard on the block. Since building the system, Annie has not had to remove any manure from her property, and her neighbors no longer complain about the horse smell. She says "It is rewarding to take something that stinks and attracts flies and is universally repugnant and turn it into something useful and valuable."
