Brent L. and his wife Elizabeth constructed their two-bin O2 Compost System during the summer of 2011 to manage manure from their five horses bedded on wood shavings. Since that time, they reduced their numbers to 3 horses, out on pasture 12 hours per day. They also converted from wood shavings to a wood pellet-like product, with the net result of reducing their waste volume by over half. With the change in bedding, they love the finished product and use all that they produce in their gardens and on the pastures.
