In 2003, Don T. redesigned what was our standard aerated bin system at the time, and scaled it down for his two horse barn which is located in a neighborhood setting in the heart of Southern California. Each bin has a 2.5 cubic yard capacity to accommodate approximately three weeks’ worth of manure. He constructed it using masonry block and a retractable wooden lid. Don’s system stair steps down a gentle slope and is located within 50 feet from the family home.
