Cofounder of Rainier Therapeutic Riding, Bob W. built this compost system to manage the manure and sawdust bedding from 13 horses currently stabled at his home ranch. Rainier Therapeutic Riding provides horsemanship lessons to injured military personnel at Joint Base Lewis McChord, as well as some retired veterans. Although relatively new, this program is already serving over 70 soldiers each week. The finished compost is spread onto the pastures.
