Blue Moon Acres is a greenhouse facility that imports waste materials, including horse manure and bedding. The finished compost is used in a no-till microgreen production facility and then re-composted with fresh feedstock materials and used again as a component of their growing medium. Jim L. has been composting since 2015 and has expanded production from one to four piles to meet his compost requirements.
