Josh and his wife Katie compost the manure and bedding from five horses. Their Benchmark bins were sized to accommodate pairs of 4' x 5' dumpster lids to keep the weather out. Three of the bins are used for active composting and the fourth is used for curing and long-term storage. Creating compost is a family affair run primarily by their teenage sons.
