Curt W. installed his O2Compost Benchmark system as part of a new subdivision development referred to as an "Agrihood" where homes are built around a working mini-farm. Creating a location to manage manure with little disturbance to the new homes being built was important. The Agrihood currently has 30 chickens, 6 cows and 3 goats, with those numbers expecting to increase in the coming year. The finished compost will be used to amend the soils in the large community garden.
