Spring Garden Ranch is a winter training facility. Their O2Compost ASP System composts the manure and pine sawdust bedding from 350-400 horses between November 1 and April 30. Assistant General Manager Sandy W. says "The static pile works for us and seems to eliminate the weed seeds that are often a problem in horse manure. The finished product has the texture of potting soil with a deep brown color. We have now sold our first 65-yard load at $8.00 per yard."
