When her manure disposal service became unreliable and competitors were too expensive, Alex B. switched to composting. She installed her O2Compost Micro-Bin in 2017. Her system composts the manure and sawdust/pine pellet bedding from her three horses and one mini. The finished compost product is spread on her resting fields. "It's more work than having waste hauled off but I do enjoy the self-sufficiency."
