Dwight A. operates a six-acre diversified organic vegetable and small fruits farm. "Properly composted material is key to any organic farm" which is why Dwight uses this O2Compost ASP system to create quality compost for his gardens. The composted materials include horse, chicken and cow manure/bedding from other farms, and large amounts of chopped leaves in the fall. "Green Manure" grown onsite as a cover crop is also a part of the compost recipe. Detweiler Homestead Farm sells its produce to local chefs, at their onsite Farm Market, and to a "Local Food Hub" in Philadelphia.
