Bill B. and his wife started with 2 horses and somehow ended up with over 80, plus a second farm in Kentucky. Bill owns a manufacturing company and he understood the opportunity of converting a raw material into a finished product and selling it into the local community. He constructed his compost system and turned over operations to William P. who, in turn, manages the composting process and uses the finished product as a component of bagged compost and potting mixes sold under the brand name “Phillips Soil Products”.
