An existing shed roof along side an existing barn was used to cover an aerated 3-bay compost system. A corn elevator is used to efficiently transfer raw manure and wood pellet bedding from six horses inside the barn to the compost bays. The finished compost is refined using a soil shredder and the final product is used at a local nursery.
