Lisa Holland wanted to be part of the regenerative farming movement so she decided to compost their horse manure on-site. Wanting to also be compliant and reduce weed seeds and fly eggs, Lisa's research led her to O2Compost. Lisa's Cornerstone Compost System primarily composts horse manure with some grass clippings and chicken manure. The finished compost is used as fertilizer and spread over the pastures twice a year, and also used in the flower beds. A resident vegetable and flower gardener uses it to mulch into the soil and top dress around his patch of garden. The system design blends in nicely with the other structures on the property.
