Angela D.'s property is part of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Their Cornerstone system composts the manure and fine wood shavings from 6 horses, with the capacity to grow to 14. "When we purchased the farm in 2017 there was no manure management system in place. We want to be good stewards of the land and manage a closed system to protect the Bay and nourish the land we love so much." The finished compost is spread back on the paddocks. "Restoring the paddocks after overgrazing was one of our main goals and the O2Compost system has helped us achieve this."

The structure was built by Virginia Frame Builders. "We have the most beautiful compost system with the most amazing views. No smell and no flies means we can still enjoy the view. Aside from the obvious environmental benefits, the addition of this system has been a great and unique selling point for our small business."
