Karen H. installed the O2Compost Benchmark System because "we had a big pile of poop that was unsightly and bred flies." Her system composts manure and cardboard bedding from five horses. The finished compost is spread on the pasture and used in the garden beds. Karen recommends building enough bins to be able to use one to house the finished compost, otherwise "you end up with another pile of poop in a slightly different form".
