Sharon C. with the Hanover-Caroline Soil & Water Conservation District facilitated the purchase and construction of this O2Compost Micro-Bin system as part of the SWCD's push to secure support for state cost-share funding on manure composting systems. This little Micro-Bin's first public appearance generated a lot of interest at the state fair. Now the system is being tested and analyzed while in use at a draft horse farm. The finished compost will be utilized back on the pastures. Sharon anticipates the system will receive some deserved attention by state and federal government agricultural cost-share BMP programs.
