Once Dustin D. realized that a lot of compostable material was going directly to the landfill, he set out to make a positive difference. He is using his O2Compost Micro-Bin to run a pilot program to learn the process of composting before scaling up to a larger system. Along with yard waste, Dustin's Micro-Bin is composting approximately three to four yards of food waste from a local restaurant. He plans to sell the finished compost in bulk to local farms.
