Why Aerated Static Pile Composting?

By Peter Moon

With ASP Composting, we are able to maintain aerobic conditions throughout the compost pile and manage pile temperatures. The bottom line? ASP systems:

  • Expedite the composting process
  • Eliminate pathogens, parasites, weed seeds, and fly larvae in the compost mix
  • Greatly reduce offensive odors (and neighbor complaints)
  • Reduce the footprint of the composting area
  • Reduce the operating cost by decreasing labor, fuel, and equipment time
  • Produce finished compost that can be safely used onsite or sold to landscapers

Our Training Programs include four component parts:

  • The design of your compost system
  • An aeration equipment package
  • A training manual
  • Unlimited technical support
